The BABECS Group is a family owned business. The owners Brian and Anne Sweeney have been married for 35 years and have enjoyed successful independent professional careers. In addition they have worked together in business for nearly 40 years in a range of business enterprises. There combined wealth of expertise and their first hand knowledge and experience of God’s leading and guiding on their life is the strong foundation upon which the BABECS group is built.
Brian is CEO of the BABECS Group, Managing Director of BABECS Consultancy Ltd; Visiting Fellow at Liverpool John Moore’s University School of Business; Chairman of the Board of Directors at Capernwray Bible School.
Brian has been involved in financial services since 1985 and has held numerous senior management roles specialising in business development, sales & marketing and strategic planning.
As the UK’s leading authority in the field of financial psychology Brian is considered to be one of the main thought leaders within the financial planning community. He is a regular contributor to professional publications and is a well known and extremely popular speaker and presenter.

Anne is a Director of the BABECS Group; Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pediatric Epilepsy; Governor at Prince’s Special School in Liverpool.
Anne has been involved in many different aspects of Nursing during her forty six years within the NHS. This includes setting up the first Pediatric Epilepsy Service in the UK funded by the Roald Dahl Foundation in 1991. Anne was a founder member of ESNA, the Epilepsy Specialist Nurse Association and Chaired the association in its second year.
